Sean Shieh (Carnegie Fellow, Associate, 1997-2000) Working as a Visiting Scholar at HpSynC

Former predoctoral fellow and later postdoctoral associate at the Geophysical Laboratory, Sean Shieh (now an associate professor at University of Western Ontario) is visiting the Geophysical Laboratory's HPSynC facility at the Advanced Photon Source (APS).Sean has performed frontier work on high pressure behavior of COand will mainly focus on studies of the polymorphism of CO2 at high P-T conditions with x-ray diffraction, inelastic scattering and Raman spectroscopy.  Sean will join HPSynC as a Visiting Investigator resident at the APS.
